The "Ourakh Or" Songs

1.   Dzovap Bidi Yertank: An upbeat dance song about going to the beach. Based on a European children’s song, this is an entertaining song children can sing along with.

2.   Bzdig Oryortige: A pop music adaptation of the popular “Bzdig Oryortige” game many of us used to play during our childhood.

3.    Gats: An original dance song based on a game with high entertainment value. Dancers freeze whenever the music stops and resume dancing when the music restarts.

4.    Yertayi Hayasdan: An original and emotional song describing a child’s dream to visit the Armenian homeland. This probably is one of the most powerful songs within the CD and teaches children about Armenia,

5.    Dzengele Mengele: A pop music adaptation of the traditional Armenian song based on Parsegh Ganachian’s music.

6.   Ourakh Or: An entertaining dance song appropriate for Birthday party celebrations. The song embodies the mood we strived to create with this album

7.    Dzidzernagin Pouyne: A pop music adaptation of another Parsegh Ganachian classic. We included this song primarily because it is such a moving analogy of the history of the Armenian nation.

8.    Antsrev Gouka: A new sing-along about the “rain” based on the tune of the popular English song “London Bridge is Falling Down”

9.    Otanavin Mech: An original song with a dance beat about a child’s experience of flying in an airplane.

10.  Yerek Khozigner: An original song based on the traditional story of the three little pigs. The three little pigs each build a home to hide from the wolf.

11.  Khaghagh Kisher: A very emotional and moving lullaby written by Parsegh Ganachian and Levon Shant. A song that has been taught in Armenian schools for many generations.
